Beautiful Krakow

Krakow, Poland's former royal capital, is one of the most beautiful and enchanting cities of Europe, and a place to reflect on what has gone before us.

Kazimierz, the Old Jewish district, lies to the south of the Wawel Castle. It was once a town in its own right, with plenty of labyrinthine streets it feels like a different world. Now it is enjoying a renaissance as a Bohemian quarter.

The architectural design of the Old Town - Stare Miasto - has stood the test of time, and retains its original form from the medieval period. Walking through its streets is a real great pleasure.

As UNESCO City of Literature, it is the best place to indulge in a bookshop crawl. Massolit bookstore - and also café - is a paradise for bookworms!
